Wild Margins, Drawings and Inspirations

Drawings and writings arising from my walks on South coast edges, between town gardens and countryside - spaces that are fast disappearing. This 73 page paperback, with its vocabulary of marks, offers rhythmic drawing orchestrations of dragging, dabbing and smudging which become tangled wayside hedges, scrub and dried foliage bearing seed heads. Studies are further charged by working in black and white.
